SUMMER SADNESS
~FRIDAY 13TH~
We Only Get 1 This Year
And It’s Happening In JUNE.
Gather ’round for a night of eerie delight as we take triskaidekaphobia head on! This Summer, we’re scoffing in the face of old wives tales with
MasterDeceased Theater, Superstition Edition.
On FRIDAY, JUNE 13th ~ Dark History PGH is resurrecting the (in)famous Thirteen Club of 1882 with three tales as unlucky as the number itself!
In 1891, women were invited to join and create their own chapters and it became so popular that 5 US Presidents were counted amongst the rosters.
The mission of The Thirteen Club was to dispel the bad rap the number held for so long. Members would deliberately walk beneath ladders, spill salt, and break mirrors at every meeting and table seatings were strictly held to 13 people - no more, no less.
To make your experience even more unforgettable, our official meeting of the Pittsburgh Chapter will take place at Castle Consortia ~ the former Musmanno Funeral Home!
You are cordially invited to become a
Founder Member
an Officer
or a Charter Member
of this original New York Social Club.
Seating is VERY LIMITED, so reserve yours now before they vanish! It would be horrifying if you missed out!
~Funeral Attire is Requested~
You Want More? We’ll Give You More!
Why wait for October when we have Friday the 13th in June?!
Join us for a real HANDS-ON experience as we go ghost hunting through some of the spookiest buildings in the borough of Carnegie!
We're setting up shop at the top of the Husler Building, home of the Historical Society of Carnegie. If you've done a Haunted Walking Tour with us, you may know some of the history about Floors 3 + 4 only now ~ we'll spend some quality time piercing the veil!
Travel up the hill to the Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall where we get to explore multiple spaces known to be haunted. Spend time in the stacks, the Music Hall, the basement Studio and the Lincoln Room! (we think Mary Todd would approve).
Weather-permitting, we will end our evening in the Ross Cemetery that dates back to the 1700s.
Your esteemed Spirit Guide, "Doc" Huntley, will have divination tools to use throughout the ghost hunt and if you happen to have any of your own ~ we highly encourage you to bring them!
BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE....
all attendees will receive their choice of a custom soft-enamel ghost pin (a $10 value)
Fully charge those phones!
Wear comfy shoes
The Historical Society does not have elevators or electricity to the upper floors
Parking is recommended at the Library and you can walk down to the Historical Soc.
